He is survived by: his wife Vivian Mead Abbott of Adel; and his siblings, Larue, James, Lossie, Robert Abbott, Francis Doherty, Wanda Brantley and Patricia Bean.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Purvis Funeral Home (207 E Mitchell St, Adel, GA 31620). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
