We bid farewell to John David McNeely of Adrian, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 2, 2025 at the age of 77. John David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Crawford McNeely and Lula Mae Price McNeely; and his brother-in-law George Lumpkin. He is survived by: his wife Ann Y. McNeely of Adrian; his daughters, Missy McGowan (Danny) of Metter and Joy Hayslip (Michael) of Adrian; his sister Lane Lumpkin of Bonaire; his grandchildren, Courtney Patterson (Ben), Noah McGowan (Haley), Danielle McGowan, Trai Hayslip and Maggie Hayslip; and his great grandchildren, Dex McGowan and Dane McGowan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (1473 Wes Lawson Rd, Kite, GA 31049).
