Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rastus Mimbs and Myrtice Riner Mimbs; his wife Carolyn Beckworth Mimbs; and his brother Robert Mimbs. He is survived by: his children, Joe Mimbs of Meeks, Angie Walker (Dale) of Meeks, Vicie Hutcheson of Meeks and Karen Atkins (Daniel) of Augusta; and his sister Kay Mimbs Webb of Meeks. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at 131 Mimbs Coleman Rd, Adrian, GA 31002.
