She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Stafford and Marietta Smith Palmer; her stepfather Rosco Palmer; her husband Leonard Stevens; and her grandson Jeremy Braswell.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Braswell of Milledgeville, Barry Braswell of Adrian and Tammy Chalker of Adrian; her grandson Jared Chalker of Swainsboro; her great grandchild Braiden Chalker of Dublin; her brothers, Richard Palmer of Adrian and Ronald Palmer (Ellen) of Adrian; and her granddaughters, Josie Lutz and Chloe Lutz.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church, 10 Mt. Zion Church Road, Adrian, GA 31002.
