He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearlie Davis and Ila Mae Kennedy Davis; and his siblings, Lewis Davis, Ann Davis Williamson and Doris Davis Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Vela Scott Davis of Ailey; his sons, Steve Davis (Beth) of Vidalia and Greg Davis (Jaime) of Fayetteville, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Kristin Davis (Michael Farley) of Stone Mountain, Anna Davis of Atlanta and Garrison Davis of Lexington, Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475).
