She is survived by: her daughter Carol Anne Claxton; her daughter-in-law Melanie Claxton; her granddaughters, Gracie Lynne, Olivia Anne Beagley (Arik) and Caroline Bess Claxton; her brothers, Bennie Sammons (Janice) of Uvalda, Darrell Sammons (Susan) of Townsend and Jimmy Sammons (Mary Alda) of Glenwood; and her sister-in-law Linda Sammons of Mt. Vernon.
