He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Rowe and Lady Bell Walker Rowe; his wife Evelyn Gray Rowe; his daughters, Marsha Rowe, Stephanie Rowe and Tina Rowe; his grandchildren, Derek Rowe and Peighson Rowe; and his siblings, Donnell Rowe, Herbert Rowe, Jimmy Rowe, Margaret Ann White, Shirley Cook and Sue Rowe.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Rowe of Nashville, Robert Rowe (Jennifer) of Alapaha, John Rowe (Melissa) of Nashville, Joe Rowe (Sherry) of Nashville and Brenda Herring of Nashville. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
