She was predeceased by : her parents, Lauro C. Alvarez and Mauela Diaz; and her husband Jesus Garza. She is survived by : her brother Carlos Alvarez; her children, Alma Linda Garza of Chula, Rosalinda Salazar (Esual) of Enigma, Maricella Gyr (James) of Lakeland, Veronika Garza of Alapaha, Jessie Garza, Jr. of Sycamore, Fermin Garza (April) of Alapaha and Christopher Garza of Valdosta; and her siblings, Lucy Alavarez of San Antonio, TX, David Alvarez of Lafayette, NC and Manuel Alvarez of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
