He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Ellis Clay, Sr. and Lillie Ruth Clay; his wife Bessie Patterson Clay; and his daughter Monica Clay. He is survived by: his children, Veronica Jordan (Lee) of Albany, GA, Romona Fields of Albany, GA, Erica Clay of Albany, GA, Arnold Ellis Clay II of Fayetteville, GA, Michael Clay of Stockbridge, GA, Antwan Clay of Camden, GA, Talon Collins of Atlanta, GA and Brandon Sapp; and his siblings, Robert Lee Clay (Ann) and Anita Maria Moody (Curtis). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
