It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Mathieu of Albany, Georgia, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Caleb Chatelain and Pauline Normand Chatelain; her stepfather Eddie Descant; and her brother Perry Chatelain. She is survived by: her husband Marvin "Bo" Mathieu; her daughters, Nicole Purvis of Evergreen, LA and Rebecca Richard of Albany; her grandchildren, Jordan, Jarod, Mollie, Charlie, Alexis and Michael, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Caden, Jordyn Claire and Jackson.
