It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Calhoun of Albany, Georgia, born in Newnan, Georgia, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Corrine Acey Calhoun and Albert Calhoun, Sr.; and his sister Gloria Calhoun. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Calhoun and Robert Calhoun; his brothers, Ralph Calhoun and Albert Calhoun, Jr. (Patricia Calhoun); his siblings' children, Bonnie Calhoun, Vanessa Calhoun, Sterling Calhoun and Michael Calhoun; his great-nephews, James Lockhart, Noble Calhoun and Miles Calhoun; and his godchildren, Aisha and Ali Shah. He is also survived by the relatives and friends.

Having served as a member of the Albany State University Foundation Board, he was one of the university's most committed supporters.

Once he returned back to Albany I was the first to reach out to him. My Father was his first patient. We remained friends over the years, a great Surgeon. we will truly miss him & all of his patients also. Our prayers are with his love ones & we are praying for God to give you strength. May God have mercy on your soul, rest in peace.”
