He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Russell McWilliams and Leona Seaman McWilliams; his wife Betty Sue Johnson McWilliams; and his grandson Michael Cerfus. He is survived by: his children, Sue Ann Reyna (Joe), Sheryl Lynn Cerfus (Joey) and Scotty Wayne McWilliams (Vivian); his sister Sandy McWilliams Baker; and his nephew Ricky McWilliams (Libby). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, several extended family members and friends.
