It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Whitley of Albany, Georgia, who passed away on October 11, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Morgan and Byrd Jane Morgan; her husband Robert Whitley, Sr.; her sister Sarah Elizabeth Gummelt; and her sons-in-law, David Crowson and Allen Underwood.
She is survived by: her children, Charmaine Underwood, Jane Ann Crowson and Robert Whitley, Jr. (Pate Chumley). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren.
