He is survived by: his children, Barry Keith Robinson Sr. (Trina), Stephanie Benita Robinson Seigler, Lana Foster-Williams and Natalie Foster-Milton (Philip); his grandchildren, Barry Jr., Brian, Brittney (Dudley), Korey, Earnest IV, Eric, Nydia and Nyja; his sister Elizabeth R. Mitchell; his nephew Levy Watson (Gloria); his goddaughter Harriet Hollis; and his siblings-in-law, Bobbie Jean Simpson, Gwendolyn Dennard and Eugene McFarlin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
