He is survived by: his wife Lisa Merritt Smith; his daughter Sarah Smith Pruitt (Steven); his grandchildren, Mary Grace Pruitt, Steven Lee Pruitt and Evelyn Jane Pruitt; and his siblings, John Smith, Melanie of Cordele, Jennifer Stone of Jacksonville, FL and Robin Massey of Lee County. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
