It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grady Williams (Albany, Georgia), who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Williams and Carrie Bell Cheeks Scott; and his brother Jimmie Williams. He is survived by : his daughters, Veronica Gay and Debra Flood; his grandchildren, Nikia L. Carter (Christopher), Lamonte B. Flood, Octavis O. Wallace and Derrick L. Wallace; his uncle Jessie Cheeks of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; his nieces and nephews, Timothy Campbell (Lajuana), Ronald Campbell (Felicia), Victor Campbell, Jimmie Williams, Jr., Jamal Williams (Aprile), Florenda Campbell, Lanise C. Wright (Kenneth), Teresa C. Green (Sheldon), Laverne Campbell, Jackie C. Parks (Anthony), Ladelya Jackson (Willie) and Mitzi Williams Crocker (Kenya); and also, Victoria Williams and Ben Dyson. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great nephews and nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Poteat-Wakefield Funeral Directors - Dunbar Chapel (435 Dunbar Ln, Albany, GA 31701). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church (1210 8 Mile Rd, Albany, GA 31721). A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at the same location.
