With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janey L. Williams of Albany, Georgia, born in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on February 8, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Troy B. Douglas; her husband David R. Williams; and her brothers, Troy Zane, Steven Tracey Douglas of Albany and James Troyce Douglas.

She is survived by: her children, Kellie Nix (Ross) of Leesburg and Stephanie Williams of Leesburg; her grandchildren, Maggie Brown (Jamie) of Leesburg and Chandler Nix of Leesburg; her great grandchild Harper Brown of Leesburg; and her sisters, Sarah Hall (Jim) of Baconton, Libby Merritt (Charlie) of Albany, Barbara Jernigan (Bill) of Appling and Sadie Arnold of Augusta.
