He is survived by: his mother Bessie Robinson; his friend Jervis; his children, Jernell Tookes-Young (Maurice) and Jervis Lamar Tookes, Jr.; his grandchildren, Zemira Smith and Riley Blakely; his siblings, Michael Tookes, Stacy Frazier, Tomeka Tookes, Tiffany Hamilton and Tonya Cason; his aunts and uncles, Teresa Walker, Tangela Walker, Leroy Walker, Joseph Walker and William Walker; his daughter Altoneyce Leatherwood; his grandchildren, Melody and Angel; and his close friend Ulysses Young. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
