She is survived by: her sibling Precious; her children, Carolyn Cooke of Indianapolis, IN, Freddie Payton (Gladys) of Franklin, GA, Merita Newell (Benjamin) of Decatur, GA and Calvin Payton (Remy) of Raleigh, NC; and her sister Lucille Lawson of Albany, GA. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great greatgrandchildren.
