It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Lee Burden (Albany, Georgia), born in Mitchell, Georgia, who passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Wiley Burden and Novella Edwards Burden; his son Jimmy Burden; and his sister Lurleen Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Young; his children, Marsha Burden and Calvin Burden; his uncle Thomas Daniels; his aunt Martha Burden Brown; and his cousins, Tim and Emma Ruth Shelton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins, church family, and friends.
