He was predeceased by: his former wife Kay Ramsey; his parents, Benjamin F. Ramsey and Delia Wingate Ramsey; and his siblings, Billy Ramsey, Daisy Smith, Dimple Wills and Estelle Kelly.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Ramsey of Albany; his children, Mark Ramsey of Leesburg, Michael Ramsey and Amy of Hendersonville, NC; his stepchildren, Fran Dekle of Birmingham, AL, Kerry of Birmingham, AL, Chris Perdue of Birmingham, AL and Heather of Birmingham, AL; his brothers, Ben Ramsey (Carolyn) and Bruce Ramsey (Alice); and his sisters-in-law, Ludie Ramsey and Morrell Anderson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
