He was predeceased by: his brother Tony L. Sheffield; and his father Lavon Sheffield, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Myra Bragg Sheffield; his sister Kimberly Vidal (Pedro); his nieces, Linda A. Reno (Phil) and Christy Marie Sheffield of Donalsonville; his nephew Pedro Vidal (Julie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Leila Reno, Lydia Vidal, Codie Reno, Remington Reno, Will Prichard and Lucas Vidal.
