It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leanna E. Walton of Albany, Georgia, born in Bainbridge, Georgia, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Ruby Loyless Evans; and her siblings, Thomas Floyd Evans, Lea Evans Ash, Lou Evans Gebhardt and Othello Evans.

She is survived by: her former husband Jerry Walton; her close friend Harris Povlot; her brother Raymond Evans (Carole); her goddaughter Amy Balmer Chu; and her cousin Jimmy Loyless (Beth).

In lieu of flowers, Dr. Walton requested that donations be made to the St. Patrick's Legacy Fund, 4800 Old Dawson Road, Albany, GA 31721.
