She was predeceased by : her parents, James Augustus Smith and Ernestine Beckham Smith; and her sister Toni Griffin. She is survived by : her husband Benjamin Newton Floyd, Jr. of Albany; and her sisters, Jan Smith Allen (Jimmy) of Cuthbert and Kim Smith of Edison.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery (17912 GA-37, Edison, GA 39846).
