He is survived by: his children, Tomeka Chaney of Vienna, Hillary Brown of Decatur and Shannon Brown of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Elijah Reese, Jr. and De'Lawrence Chaney of Vienna, Georgia; his siblings, Timothy Brown Alexander (Kim) of Alabama, Alicia Harvey (Frank) of Americus, Marie Walker (Willie) of Americus, Ethel Finch of Americus, Jimmy Williams (Barbara), George Rogers, Tuskegee of Alabama, Carolyn Tell of Dawson, Johnny Rogers of Atlanta, Georgia and Vincent Rogers of Atlanta, Georgia; and his aunts, Mary Alice Holloway of Albany, Flora Jean Holloway of Atlanta, Georgia. and Frankie Brown of Atlanta, Georgia.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
