She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Johnson and Lillie Draper Johnson; her husband John Henry Irvin; her children, Nathaniel Irvin, Joseph Irvin, David Irvin and Dale Irvin; her siblings, Fletta Mae Williams, Verdale Wallace, Wilson Johnson, Robert Johnson, William Thomas and Jessie Johnson; her children-in-law, Wilson Thomas and Eunice Irvin; and her grandchild Avis Irvin.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Irvin Thomas and John Henry Irvin Jr. Margaret; her brother Calvin Johnson (Mattie Bell) of Albany, GA.; and her grandchildren, Vontressa Mitchell (Kwandrell), David Irvin Harper, Tara Irvin, Andrew Irvin, Dontayvious Irvin, Daphne Irvin, Derrick Irvin, Nathaniel Carter, Shekiether of Washington, Cassandra of Washington, Demetria Carter, Tinesha Irvin, Timothy Hunter, Casey Hunter, Zemya Harry, Dontavious of Washington, Antonio Frazier and Jermaine Frazier. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
