We are sad to announce that, on March 11, 2026, at the age of 98, Margie Apperson Lashley of Albany, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer W. Apperson and Mary Alene Fowler Apperson; her husband Grover Lee Lashley; and her daughter Charlotte Young. She is survived by: her children, Charles Lashley (Nell), Audrey Bruner (Perry), Celyse Champion, Alyse Pensala (Marvin) and Selena Sumner (Randy); and her brother Wendell Apperson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA 31707.
