He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jordan and Nancy Clifford Downs Davis; his wife Mary Ruth Dockery Davis; and his siblings, Frances Blanchard and Ricey H. Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Davis Maples (Leesburg) and Terry Davis (Albany); his grandchildren, Dana Maples Anderson, Kara Maples Hanson, Alan Maples Jr., Stephanie Davis, Eric Davis and Melanie Davis; and his great grandchildren, Liam Rothfuss, Axl Wellington, Piper Wellington, Grant Anderson, Kaleigh Allen, Trenton Allen, Willow Jenkins, Brynlee Davis and Ava Davis.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Banks Funeral Home (210 N Main St, Sylvester, GA 31791). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at the Red Oak Cemetery (633 Red Oak Rd, Warwick, GA 31796).
