She was predeceased by: her father Henry Childs, Sr.; her husband Jessie; her son Clenest Edward Gadson (Dickie); her grandson Kendrick J. Davis; and her siblings, Walter Childs, H. C. Childs, Artis Lee Childs, Ruby Mae Childs Bowen, Odessa Childs Green, Johnnie Mae Childs Green and Helen Childs Pryor.
She is survived by: her children, Carnell Gadson of Oakland Park, FL, Marion Jean Gadson Holman (Leonard) of Albany, GA, Jessie Lee Gadson (Trena) of Fort Wayne, IN and Donna Renee Gadson Bussey (Royce) of Danville, CA; her grandchildren, Leonard Jason Holman II, Heather Brittany Holman, Asia Monet Bussey, Asante Armani Bussey and Tiffany Fields; and her great grandchildren, Leonard Javon Holman III, Lenterrious Sean Holman, Jayin Joshua Holman, Jordyn Jaliyah Holman and Averi M. Rice. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
