She was predeceased by: her husband Jessie Moses; her son Alexander Brookins; and her siblings, JW Brookins Jr., Sammie Brookins, Beatrice Hawkins and Marie Holloman.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Walker, Kortney Walker and Sebrina Walker of Atlanta, Georgia; her siblings, Aaron Brookins, Emma McDowell of Albany, Georgia, Elizabeth Jefferson of Albany, Georgia, Apostle Polly Fleming of Albany, Georgia and Teresa Taylor of Albany, Georgia; her close friend Patricia Hudson; Charles Brookins (Pastor Gwendolyn). She is also survived by one grandson; eight granddaughters; six great-grandchildren.
