He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Paul and Mildred Paul; and his brother Tommy. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Graves of Albany, Melissa Ford of Albany, Tracey Boyd of Albany and Kristie Shelley (Chris) of Albany; his sisters, Mary, Barbara and Peggy; the mother of his children Bettie Paul; his grandchildren, Dennis (Michele), Sherrie, Bud (Kiersten), Ronnie (Felicia), Kameron and Karsynn; and his great grandchildren, Justin, Emilee, Noah, Grayson, Taylor, Reagan and Ronald, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
