She is survived by: her children, Alyssa Hammock of Albany and Izzy Rose Daniel of Richmond; her mother Liz Hammock of Leesburg; and her brothers, David "Red" McDowell of Savannah, Marvin Sheffield of Albany and Travis Sheffield of Tallahassee. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
