He was predeceased by: his father Harold Kemp; his grandmothers, Sylvia Perry and Lillie Kemp; his aunts, Louise Kemp and Geraldine Kemp; and his sister Antoinette Monique Kemp.
He is survived by: his mother Bettye Bell (Joe H. Bell) of Starkville, Mississippi.; his wife Cakeitha "Cookie" Harris Perry; his children, Sade Perry and Lydia Perry; his grandchild Pharell Perry; and his siblings, Jeanette Bell, Suzette Bell, JoAnn Bell and Harold Kemp, Jr. of Starkville, Mississippi. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
