He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon John Davis, Jr. and Janie Lee Ellis-Davis; his sister Elizabeth Robinson; and his wife Maggie Leggett Davis. He is survived by: his child Taffie Leggett Davis; and his siblings, Freddie Lee Davis (Jessica), Johnny L. Davis, Walter Lee Davis, Sr. (Pam), Calvin Davis, Sr., Benjamin Davis and Eleanor Davis Clyde (Charles). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Elliott Funeral Home (512 S Jefferson St, Albany, GA 31701).
