He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bates McMath, Sr. and Henryetta Glover McMath; and his daughter Karyn McMath Bacon. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Gunter McMath; his daughters, Amy McMath Calley of Atlanta and Ginger McMath Miller (Brian) of Leesburg, Georgia; his brother-in-law Tom Gunter (Kathy) of Marietta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Anna Kate Miller, Carson Miller, Bates Bacon and Jane Bacon; his nieces, Wendy Wolfe and Brandin Cheeley (Jim) of Marietta; and his nephew Thomas Gunter (Kelly) of Marietta. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and childhood best friends.
