With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie Lee Johnson of Albany, Georgia, born in Mitchell, Georgia, who passed away on July 23, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jutson Lee Johnson and Inez Golden Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Imogene Taylor Johnson; his children, Caroline Jean Benford (Bo), Joel Lee Johnson of Albany, David Wayne Johnson (Rachel) and Donna Gail Sherman (Nate); his siblings, Boyd Wallace Johnson of Bainbridge and Linda Joyce Coonrod of Kingsland; and his grandchildren, Caroline, Jonathon, Randel, Kenny, Scott and Lisa. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Phoebe Hospice in memory of Mr. Johnson.
