He was predeceased by: his parents, Motell Scott and Jessie Scott; his daughter Veronica Walker Thomas (James); and his brother Clinton Scott. He is survived by: his daughters, Georgia and Miller Brewery; his wife Bonnie Scott; his children, Alvin Grier, LaToy Sawyer (Geoffrey Sr.) and Kimberly Moss (Chris R.); his sister Mildred Scott Calloway; his grandchildren, Tiffany Yvette Rowe, Michael Grier, Chelsea Devin Taylor Grier, Cayden Scott Moss, Geoffrey Bernard Sawyer Jr., Brooke Lynne Elaine Sawyer and Christopher James Moss; and his great grandchildren, Semaj Stocks, Dallas Kyrie Talley and Marlei Kelis-Taylor Hawkins. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
