He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Colegrove and Harriett Colegrove (Cole); his wife Dorothy Colegrove (Cox); his son James Colegrove, Jr.; and his sister Helen Hesterlee.
He is survived by: his daughter Christine Standard (Andrew) of Allenhurst, GA; his grandchildren, Caeden James Colegrove, Parker Myles Colegrove and Nicole Leilani Gyger; and his siblings, Lloyd Colegrove, Betty Mason of Georgetown, TN and Jessie Cline (Chaunay) of Silver Spring, MD..
