She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Nipper and Dorothy Mae Harris Nipper; her husband Dean Hood (James Carl Griffin, Sr.); her children, Johnny Medders, Jack Medders and Ann Medders; and her siblings, Dorothy Morrison, Gloria Nipper, Patsy Ruis, Shirley Chancey, Illa Jean Taylor, Ann Bazemore, Franklin Nipper and Bobby Nipper.
She is survived by: her children, Timmy Hood and Joyce Medders; her brothers, James Nipper and Ronnie Nipper (Cheryl); and her close friends, Terry, Tammy Griffin, Neal, Mary Jane Griffin, Allen, Laura Owens and Corina Lozada.
