With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Virgil Gaskins of Alma, Georgia, who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Virgil Gaskins and Ruby Luke Gaskins; his wife Eugenia J. Haselden Gaskins; his son-in-law Carl Miller; and his brothers, Henry Gaskins, F. B. Gaskins, Hershel Gaskins, Loren Gaskins and Marcus Gaskins (Ruth).
He is survived by: his children, Bishop R. B. Gaskins (Teresa), Gail Lowe (David), Faye Miller and Mary Ann Culbreath (Rick). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crosby Funeral Home (207 W 12th St, Alma, GA 31510). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home (207 W 12th St, Alma, GA 31510).
