She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Phillip "W. P." Pennington and Oline Davis Pennington; her brother Phillip Pennington; and her nephew Baby Pennington. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Gene Waters; her children, Ken Waters of Alma, Kimberly Crosby of Alma and Kerissa Norris of Alma; her grandchildren, Brody Crosby (Erica), Brent Crosby (Haley), Trent Crosby, Triniti Crosby, Jenna Hewitt (Fletcher) and Madi Norris; her great grandchildren, Lydia, Lakelynn, Zayleigh and Everleigh Crosby; her sister June Medders (Charlie) of Alma; and her sister-in-law Linda Pennington.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Southside Church of God (102 Taylor Rd, Alma, GA 31510). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
