It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Jane Bunton of Alma, Georgia, born in Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on June 5, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, L. J. Brogdon and Annie Mae Roberson Brogdon; her former life partner Johnny Phillips, Sr.; her siblings-in-law, Karen June Zipperer Bunton, Mary Bunton Chancey, Margie Faye Chancey and Audie Chancey; her daughter-in-law Tracy Phillips; her nephews, Jason Chancey, Randy Zipperer and David Winchester; her cousin Johnny McCray; and her pets, Maggie and Missy.
She is survived by : her husband Roy Truman Bunton of Alma; her children, Johnny Paul Phillips, Jr. (Lisa Brown) of Brunswick, Patrick Shane Phillips of Brunswick and Virginia Bunton of Alma; her siblings, Wanda Chilson of Brunswick, Kathy Cox of Brunswick and Wayne Brogdon of Albany; her siblings-in-law, Marthy Chancey (Joe) of Jesup and Coye Bunton of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Chelsea Marie Pervis, Brandon Keith Phillips, Katlyn Dawn Phillips, Patrick Keith Phillips and Christian Scott Phillips; and her pets, Diesel and Bubba. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives.
