She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Payton Wade and Retta Carter Wade; her husband Liston Lawton Carter; her daughter-in-law Susan Carter; her brothers, Jerry Wade, Virgil Wade (Frances), Ed Wade (Winnie) and Aubrey Wade (Ivos); and her brother-in-law Darrell Douglas.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn, Sr. of Alma, Bruce Carter (Aleisa) of Alma and Debbie Williams (Tim) of Alma; her grandchildren, Mark Bowles, Chris Bowles (Jana), Austin Williams (Logan), Glenn Carter, Jr. (Staci), Miranda Carter Kaiser (Krieg) and Krista Carter; and her sister Nellie Wade Douglas. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, four step grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
