He was predeceased by : his father Leroy Hollis Deen. He is survived by : his children, Lynn Hollis Deen (Shanna), Joseph C. Deen, Melisa Ann Carter and Sheila Marie Curl (Joseph) of Alma; and his siblings, Leroy Deen (Jessie Mae) of Thomasville, Larry Deen (Ernie Mae) of Alma, Leslie "Bunny" Deen (Ellen) of Alma, Linda Dyal of Baxley and Latricia Ledford (Harold) of Glenwood. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
