As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Leathia Ann Johnston; his son John Bunch; his father Dan Wheeler; and his sister Karen Douglas. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Wheeler; his daughters, Donna Bowers (Ricky) of Alma, Kira Thomas (Jeremy) of Alma and Michelle Reynolds (Chuck) of Springfield, OH; and his siblings, Brenda Smith, Sharon DePriest, Debra Connley and Ricky Johnston. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
