He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Jessie Thompson and Clyo Taylor Thompson; his wife Linda Faye Thompson; and his sisters, Cynthia Sharpe, Muriel Martin and Colleen Adams.
He is survived by: his sons, Jessie Thompson of Brunswick, Brad Thompson (Renee) of Virginia and Scottie Thompson of Alma; his grandchildren, Matthew Thompson, Amber Huggins, Emily Thompson and Hayden Thompson; his great grandchild Holly Huggins; and his sisters, Jan Allen of Blackshear and Vivian Stallings of Alma.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crosby Funeral Home (207 W 12th St, Alma, GA 31510). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
