He was predeceased by : his son Michael Mullis; and his sisters, Naomi Davis and Neileen Whitley. He is survived by : his wife Norma Jean Smart Mullis; his children, Joey Mullis (Connie), Davey Mullis (Marie) and Melanie Wines (Gary); and his stepchildren, Monty Morrow, Rhonda Morrow, Renee O'Quinn (Ronnie) and Lennie Mullis. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
