He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Rigdon and Maggie Spivey Rigdon; his wives, Idell Mathis Rigdon and Eloise Rigdon; and his siblings, Hubert, Roy, Bossy Rigdon and Nadine Hayes.

He is survived by: his daughter Elaine Rigdon Daniel of Nicholls.
