Earl J. Hemphill Obituary

Earl J. Hemphill of Alpharetta, Georgia -born in Evans City, PA, July 1924, passed away on September 15th, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are invited to send their condolences and fond memories of Earl, and/or a donation to a Veteran's organization to honour his WWII U.S. Navy service to our country. Earl is forever loved and cherished by many people including : His wife of 54 years, Jeanne Ferlin Hemphill (deceased), their four cildren Holly Harris, Cindy Van Gorder, Linda (Fagan) Hemphill, and Earl John Hemphill, Jr.; Grandchildren: Stephanie (Harris) Hayes, Thomas Harris, Allyson Van Gorder, Jordan Van Gorder, Benjamin Fagan, Kelly (Fagan) Ashley; Earl's sister, Joan "Josie" Boehm and nephew Dwight Boehm. Earl was also cherished by his two great-grandsons, Hayden and Teagan, sons of Kelly Ashley. Earl's grandson, Benjamin Fagan, honorably continues Earl's U.S. Navy legacy, as with Earl's father, John Elish Hemphill (U.S. Army, WWI).
