She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Harmon and Emily Copeland Riley Harmon; her husband O. E. Garmon; and her siblings, Ryan (Margaurite Harmon), Lanier (Evelyn Harmon), Clark (Katherine Harmon), Clyde (Louise Rainwater Harmon) and Mary (Roy Kenneth Chambers).

She is survived by: her caregiver Opal Oliver. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
